Abstract: A Linear Integrated Sensing Transmitter Sensor for measuring and reporting temperature has a housing defining a cavity therethrough, a resistance temperature within the housing, and a transmitter disposed within the housing connected to the resistance temperature detector for providing a current which is a linear function of the temperature sensed by the resistance temperature detector. The transmitter further includes an excitation current means for applying an excitation current to the resistance temperature detector, a converter means for converting a detected voltage to a current, and a feedback means for adjusting a feedback current to maintain the voltage as a linear function of the temperature sensed.
