  • Patent number: 4151094
Abstract: Apparatus and method are illustrated for removing solids from filter media supported by a backup roll wherein an elongated brush exerts a flicking action on the solids collected by the media during a filtering operation and deposits the solids upon a splash plate where the solids are collected for reclamation.
