Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for generating and delivering data content to a mobile device using geospatially-aware virtual environments. A virtual environment management system generates a virtual environment based on a hybrid application having one or more functionality associated with an activation condition, and provides the virtual environment to the mobile device. The virtual environment management system then determines that a location of the mobile device satisfies the activation condition, and activates the one or more functionality for the virtual environment.
Abstract: Computer-implemented techniques for efficiently inserting high dimensional data into a tree data structure while managing hardware memory usage are presented. The techniques include accessing an electronically stored tree data structure indexing data having a dimension greater than three: electronically storing a node size threshold value, a memory consumption threshold value, a percentage overlap threshold value, a squareness threshold value, and a child node count threshold value; obtaining high dimensional data for insertion into the tree data structure; selecting a node of the tree data structure for insertion of the high dimensional data; inserting the high dimensional data into a node of the tree data structure; and determining, based on the node size threshold, the memory consumption threshold, the percentage overlap threshold the squareness threshold, and the child node count threshold, whether to split the node of the tree data structure.
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for developing user profiles via search query analysis and linking the user profiles and data sources, to adaptively facilitate the discovery, transfer, and distribution of pertinent knowledge. A user profile builder, linker, and manager analyze users' search queries to learn their interests and habits, build user profiles to reflect the users' interests and habits, and link together profiles of the users with common interests. A data harvester utilizes the user profiles to provide pertinent data to the users based on their interests and habits or those of other users with common interests.
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for geospatial management and visualization of events, by presenting a dynamic, user-interactive geospatial environment for performing real-time operations management and pre/post-mission analytical activities. A geospatial event management system integrates geospatial imagery data from geospatial imagery data sources, and determines a geographic area of interest based on user input, stored settings, or other relevant parameters. The geospatial event management system then provides a user-interactive geospatial environment based on the geospatial imagery data associated with the geographic area of interest, and ingests geospatially-referenced event data associated with the events, such as tracking data, telemetry data, or sensor data.
