Abstract: A drink bottle with a removable lid includes an inner lid attached to the mouth of the bottle and an outer lid pivotably mounted on the inner lid. A drink spout extends from the inner lid. The outer lid may be locked into a closed position covering the drink spout. A push button on the inner lid can be operated to release the locked outer lid, permitting the outer lid to open to permit drinking from the drink spout. The push button moves a lid slide that extends opposite to the hinge and contains an extension that engages with a notch in the upper lid to hold the upper lid closed. On actuating the push button, the lid slide is pulled toward the push button and the extension at the other end of the lid slide moves out of engagement of the outer lid, thereby opening the outer lid.
Abstract: An insulated food jar assembly includes an outer insulated container or sleeve having an open mouth and an interior space. The outer insulated container is a double-walled vacuum insulated container. An inner container nests into the interior space of the outer insulated container. The inner container has a collar that extends over the open mouth of the outer container when nested. The collar includes handles and an inner surface that bears against a friction ring about the mouth of the outer container. A lid fastens onto a neck of the inner container. A stopper in the lid fits into the neck and has a gasket to seal against an inward projection of the neck. A gasket at an outer edge of the lid seals against a shoulder of the inner container. The inner container is of a material that may be heated over an open flame heat source.
Abstract: A drink additive lid system (10) is provided for selectively introducing a drink additive (12) to a beverage container (14) closed by the lid system (10). The system (10) includes a plurality of additive compartments (20), each compartment (20) containing a drink additive (12), and a lid (22) attachable to a beverage container (14) to close a fill opening (16) of the beverage container (14). The lid (22) carries the compartments (20) and includes a drinking port (67) to allow beverage to pass from inside of the container (14) to the mouth of a user, and an actuator (24) mounted to be sequentially positioned adjacent each additive compartment (20) to allow a user to sequentially dispense the additive (12) from each additive compartment (20) into the beverage container (14) by engaging the actuator (24) with the compartment (20).
Abstract: A lid for a beverage bottle includes a lid body that is fastenable onto the bottle and an actuation dial that rotates on the lid body. The actuation dial rotates a rotating spout while permitting the spout to move axially by teeth sliding in channels. As the spout is rotated, it moves on threads within the lid body to provide the axial movement. A gasket within the spout bears against a plug of the lid body when the spout has been moved to the closed position. The gasket is free of the plug to form a fluid passageway from the bottle through the lid body and the spout when the spout has been moved to the open position. The gasket includes a seal ring bearing on a fluid flow tube of the lid body to prevent leaks.
Abstract: A drink bottle with a removable lid includes an inner lid attached to the mouth of the bottle and an outer lid pivotably mounted to said inner lid. A drink spout extends from the inner lid. The outer lid may be latched into a closed position covering the drink spout. A push button can be selectively actuated to release the latched outer lid, permitting the outer lid to open to access the drink spout. The push button moves a lid slide containing a catch extension that engages a catch notch in the outer lid to latch the outer lid closed. Actuating the push button moves the catch extension out of engagement with the catch notch, thereby opening the outer lid. A push button lock selectively prevents the push button from being depressed and the lid slide from being actuated, thereby locking the outer lid in a latched and closed position.

Abstract: The plug includes: a resilient member that is provided on the valve body and serves to bias the valve body in a closing direction; a valve body cover attached to the valve body in order to prevent the resilient member from coming of a rotation member rotatably provided on the valve body cover; at least two engagement claw portions that are provided on the rotation member and serve to allow the valve body cover to be engaged with an upper portion of the valve body; and claw guiding grooves and the recessed grooves serving as steps that are provided on an upper portion of the valve body, the number of the claw guiding grooves being equal to the number of or the integral multiple of the engagement claw portions, the recessed grooves allowing the rotation member to rotate.
Abstract: A plug includes: a fluid passage in a main body; a valve body biased to close an inlet of the fluid passage; a cover disposed on an upper end of the main body and closing an upper opening section thereof; and a control lever of the cover that can be pushed downward to open and close the valve body. An engagement claw section is formed on an elastic section of the main body. Provided on the cover is a transverse-plate upper surface for engaging the engagement claw section. A protrusion section of the control lever abuts against and shifts the elastic section in a disengagement direction when pushing the control lever downward. The protrusion section can thus disengage the engagement claw section from the transverse-plate upper surface. The control lever biased upward by the valve body allows the cover to be easily and lightly disassembled from the main body.
Abstract: A drink bottle with a removable lid includes an inner lid attached to the mouth of the bottle and an outer lid or cover pivotably mounted on said inner lid. A drink spout extends from the inner lid. The outer lid or cover may be locked into a closed position covering the drink spout. A push button release is activated to unlock the outer lid and permit the outer lid to pivot to a position exposing the drink spout for access by a user. The outer lid may be snapped of the inner lid by moving the outer lid beyond an open position. A bail handle on the outer lid is retained in a stowed position in a recess in the outer lid or is moved to a deployed position. The bail handle disconnects from the outer lid when moved beyond the deployed position. The push button for releasing the closed outer lid is enclosed within a tunnel in the inner lid.
Abstract: A food container has an inner container for holding the food items and an outer sleeve into which the inner container fits. The inner container may be held in the outer sleeve by a friction fit or a bayonet latch or other fastening means. The inner container includes two handles by with the inner container is lifted from the outer sleeve or by which the entire container is carried. A threaded lid with a gasket fastens onto the inner container. The lid and the outer sleeve may be insulated.
Abstract: A food jar has an insulated body with a wide-mouth opening for receiving food. A collar is affixed to the opening of the food jar by affixing a throat member to the collar and threading the throat into the wide-mouth body. The throat member includes a gasket at the lower end to seal the throat to the body. A lid is affixed to the collar by a hinge. The lid includes a central projection that extends into sealing contact with the gasket on the throat member to seal the lid to the throat member. A button is mounted in a channel in the lid and biased by a spring to move into an engaging position to engage the collar at an opening in the collar to secure the lid to the collar. A wire loop is provided to engage the button in an embodiment.
Abstract: A stopper (10) is provided for a beverage container (12) having a fill opening (14) that is closed by the stopper (10). The stopper (10) includes a main body (18), a lid (22), and a rigid lanyard loop (16). The main body (18) is configured for releasable engagement with the opening (14) of beverage container (12) and includes a drinking port (24) to allow a beverage to flow from the beverage container (12) to the mouth of a user. The lid (22) has an upper surface (26) and is hinge mounted to the main body (18) for movement between a closed position wherein the drinking port (24) is covered and an open position wherein the drinking port (24) is exposed for access by a user. The rigid lanyard loop (16) is hinge mounted for movement relative to the lid (22) between an stowed position wherein the lanyard loop (16) extends adjacent the upper surface (26) of the lid (22) and a deployed position wherein the lanyard loop (16) extends away from the upper surface (26) with the lid (22) in the closed position.
