Abstract: A device forming a clamping pad includes a body (1) presenting a first face (1a) to be secured by suction to a worktable (T) and a second face (1b) to be secured by suction to a workpiece (P). The body (1) contains elements for generating suction, which elements are linked to the first face (1a) to be secured to the worktable (T) and to the second face (1b) to be secured to a workpiece (P). The device is applicable to double-sided clamping of workpieces (P) with a view to treating them or to working on them.
Abstract: A device for clamping a workpiece (P) to a workbench (T) includes a body (1) containing a vacuum-generating element. The body (1) has a lower cavity (2) open at the bottom and positioned in the vicinity of a face for securing to the workbench (T). The lower cavity (2) forms a vacuum reserve, this vacuum reserve being connected by a substantially straight duct (6) to an upper face for securing a workpiece (P).

Abstract: A door to a machine tool positioned at the front of the machine tool on the workstation side. The door is equipped with steps along an entire length thereof to provide access to the workstation of the machine tool when in a folded-down position.
Abstract: A device for smoothing or polishing stone, of the type comprising at least two carrying segments for flat grindstones or bricks. These segments are driven with oscillatory movement so as to cause the grindstones or bricks to operate along a generatrix when the device is driven in rotation during smoothing or polishing. The drive for the flat grindstones (16) or bricks in oscillation comprises an intermittent flow or a continuous flow with variable flow rate, of a fluid, which can be a liquid or gas. The fluid flow can be a flow of water or of equivalent cooling liquid, so as to ensure simultaneously the lubrication in the course of polishing and the driving in oscillation of the carrying segments (12).
Abstract: The device for mounting and removal of polishing wheels comprises a cup-shaped support of partially elastic material and fitted on the mounting face of a polishing wheel. A receiving plate is forcibly engaged within the support by elastic deformation of the cup and rigidly fixed to the end of a driving shaft. A duct formed in the bottom wall of the cup serves to discharge air at the time of assembly or to blow-in compressed air between the cup and the receiving plate for subsequent uncoupling of these two components and removal of the corresponding polishing wheel.
