Abstract: An ultra-thin transformer (UTT) is disclosed. The UTT is comprised of an ultra-thin core (UTC), which comprises a base unit comprising a central core branch, at least one side branch, a plurality of dents forming a toroidic space in the base unit around the central core branch, and an open face. The UTC also comprises a cover unit adapted to match the open face of the base unit. The UTT also comprises a primary winding and a secondary winding. A method for production of thin helical winding is also disclosed. The method comprises obtaining a wire adapted to form a helical layer, winding the wire of certain transformer's layer between two flat plates, and removing the flat plates when the layer is finished.

Abstract: A size adjustable charger that is connectable to an outlet in order to charge a battery powered device, such as a mobile electronic device is disclosed. The charger may comprise at least a first and a second charger body sections, and one or more force transmitting elements, such as, one or more hinges, configured to be interconnected between the at least first and second charger body sections and to facilitate a size adjustment operation. The size adjustable charges may further include a set of outlet-connectable prongs. The prongs may be insertable to an outlet or socket in a first position of the outlet-connectable prongs or in a first relative position of the at least first and second charger body sections, and non-insertable to an outlet in a second position of the outlet-connectable prongs or in a first relative position of the at least first and second charger body sections.
Abstract: A miniature electrical power charger for an electrical device comprises a rectifier for converting non-isolated AC electrical grid with first voltage level to non-isolated DC voltage with second voltage level, a DC-DC voltage converter for converting the non-isolated DC voltage with second voltage level to non-isolated intermediate DC voltage of a third voltage level and a transformer unit for converting the non-isolated intermediate DC voltage of a third voltage level to an isolated low DC voltage of a fourth voltage level.
