    Abstract: Apparatus and method for installing a secondary duct to a main duct in a forced air ventilation system utilizes a gasket having a central opening which functions as a template for cutting an opening into the main duct after the gasket is secured to a flat surface of the main duct. The secondary duct is then inserted through the openings of the gasket and the main duct and is secured to the main duct and the gasket so as to seal the openings.
