    Abstract: The present invention provides a splice closure for covering an elongate cable splice including a splice cover sheet having opposed longitudinal ends. The sheet is wrapped about the cable splice with the ends being overlapped. A sealant strip is positioned to overlie the cable splice and the one end of the cover sheet.
