Abstract: A writing instrument is attached to a cord that is itself retractable into a housing. The housing includes a spool connected to a spring. The retractable cord is connected to the spool, and the spool is adapted to wind the cord around it as a result of the spring being biased to turn the spool so the cord is wound around it. A mount connects the housing to a surface. The housing may have written indicia displaying on it. Further, the mount can be rotatably connected to the housing.
Abstract: A peg hook for dispensing suspended packages or other articles has a resilient tongue near its front end for preventing removal of more than one article at a time. The hook is preferably formed as one piece of plastic material and has spaced fingers for fitting into holes in a pegboard backing panel so that the hook extends horizontally.
Abstract: An adjustable dispensing and exhibiting tray for adjustably handling articles of different dimension includes an integrally formed base member having a forwardly downwardly inclined base panel with closely transversely spaced longitudinal ribs delineating longitudinal sockets. Partition panels separably engage pre-selected channels to delineate passageways for slidably accommodating articles of corresponding widths. A transverse socket along the base panel front edge engages the bottom border of an upwardly directed stop defining panel. The base member includes side walls with pin engageable notches to facilitate the inclined mounting of the device.
Abstract: A disposable coupon dispensing cartridge includes a housing and a passageway section having top and bottom walls extending from the housing to a discharge opening. A roll of a band of coupons is contained in the housing and has a leading tail extending from the housing to the discharge opening. The coupon band is provided with longitudinally spaced indices and a metering mechanism is carried by a passageway wall and is responsive to the band indicia to releasably restrict further advance of the band upon withdrawal of a coupon through the discharge opening. The metering mechanism may include a band bellying projection on the bottom wall and a stop forwardly of the projection and the indicia are longitudinal slits or may include a longitudinally vertically movable return biased pin for releasably engaging indicia defining holes in the band and a cam for raising and lowering the pin with its longitudinal movement.
Abstract: A display and dispensing device includes a collapsible cardboard rack having a rear wall and hinged side walls provided with vertically spaced longitudinal recesses delineating forwardly projecting pairs of arms having track delineating top edges and cross pieces extending between and hinged at their opposite ends to the front ends of the arms of each pair. A shelf member having side channels slidably engaging each pair of tracks is supported by each pair of arms and has a rearwardly projecting apertured tab projecting through a respective opening in the rack rear wall and interlocked with a tongue located in the opening.
Abstract: An article display and dispensing structure includes a cardboard base unit collapsible to a lay flat condition and having side walls with upwardly rearwardly inclined edges on the lower part of which is located a separable platform panel and an inclined container unit resting on the inclined edges and platform and enclosing a partition unit having open topped longitudinal passageways slideably carrying end to end bottles, the container being closed by a swingable rectangular cover releasably locked in closed position by Velcro coupling sections and having a transverse line of weakness delineating with the bottom front edge of the cover member a separable panel whose separation provides access to the lowermost bottles for individual removal.
