Abstract: An embodiment of a method of providing financial data to a financial instrument smart contract in a distributed ledger system includes: receiving, by an oracle smart contract in the distributed ledger system, a transaction from the financial instrument smart contract, the transaction including registration data having an identification of financial data to be delivered and an identification of a schedule on which to deliver the financial data; generating a transaction including the financial data; and transmitting the generated transaction to at least one distributed node of the distributed ledger system according to the requested schedule.

Abstract: The present invention relates to software and a method of use for implementing workflows and managing engagements and staff. More particularly, the present invention relates to a software module tracking data of staff, engagements and workflows and a method of using such data in the management of staff and assignment of tasks. Information concerning employees is input into a database by the manager and the employees, and is tracked therein. The information concerning an employee includes an employee's availability, ability and experience. Workflow/Task information is input into the database when either a client makes a request for service of the business, or a workflow/task internal to the business is needed to be performed. Task information includes the nature of the work and deadlines. Task information is compared to the employee information. A list is automatically generated naming the employees best suited to the mandate of the task.

Abstract: A facility for collecting distinguished information relating to an engagement of a first organization by a second organization is described. The facility provides an interface usable by at least one user affiliated with the second organization to provide the distinguished information. Only after the interface is used by a user affiliated with the second organization to provide the distinguished information, the facility permits at least one user affiliated with the second organization to perform a distinguished process.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards a citation formatting system and a method for operating an online research service for providing legal citations. The exemplary system provides the citation formatting function in a client-server architecture, receiving citations from a user's client access device over a computer network and communicating citation format suggestions back to the client access device for possible insertion into a document on the access device.

Abstract: An electronic trading venue (ETV) may prioritize maker orders that specify or are associated with cancel delay values by selecting a maker order to be matched with taker orders before competing maker orders, at the same price level for a given instrument, that have smaller or no cancel delay values. Such prioritization may occur even if the competing maker orders were received before the maker order. A cancel delay value indicates an amount of time that must pass after a request to cancel a maker order is received before the ETV actually cancels the maker order. Thus, in exchange for prioritization, maker orders will be subject to a cancellation delay that starts after a cancel request is received and during which a maker order will not be canceled. Takers may benefit from this by being able to match with a maker order before it can be canceled.

Abstract: Systems and techniques are disclosed to rank documents by analyzing a query log generated by a search engine. The query log includes data relating to user behavior, queries and documents. The systems and techniques distill query log information into surrogate documents and extract features from these surrogate documents to rank the documents.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for determining significance between entities are disclosed. The systems and techniques identify a first entity having an association with a second entity, apply a plurality of association criteria to the association, weight each of the criteria based on defined weight values, and compute a significance score for the first entity with respect to the second entity based on a sum of a plurality of weighted criteria values. The systems and techniques utilize information from disparate sources to create a uniquely powerful signal. The systems and techniques can be used to identify the significance of relationships (e.g., associations) among various entities including, but not limited to, organizations, people, products, industries, geographies, commodities, financial indicators, economic indicators, events, topics, subject codes, unique identifiers, social tags, industry terms, general term/s, metadata elements, classification codes, and combinations thereof.

Abstract: A computer implemented method for mining supply chain information to produce supply chain graphs includes receiving by a computer a set of data; identifying a supplier, a commodity, and a customer from the set of data; generating a query comprising the identified data; determining the absence of any of the supplier, the commodity, or the customer from the set of data; if any items are determined to be absent from the set of data, substituting a placeholder for the missing item from the data set; sending the query; receiving a set of supply chain graph information; generating a supply chain graph signal based upon the set of supply chain graph information; and transmitting the supply chain graph signal. In accordance with the method, a plurality of information identifier (infoID) sets is generated based on at least one search term and at least one filtering criteria. The at least the plurality of infoID sets is joined according to a mathematical expression to form a resultant infoID set that includes at least one resultant infoID. At least a portion of a content document associated with the at least one resultant infoID is retrieved. At least one resultant infoID is summarized into at least one summary. The retrieved portion of the content document is summarized into the at least one summary of a combined result based on the associated at least one resultant infoID.

Abstract: Systems and technologies for providing an electronic bilateral chat room are disclosed. Users of the system may be screened against a database of organizations having hierarchal information relating to parent organization for which the user is associated, including parent subsidiaries, joint ventures and affiliates. While a bilateral chat room is limited to users in only two organizations, the present disclosure also allows other users that are associated with the structure of the parent organization to be included in the chat room.

Abstract: A method for evaluating an online entity presence includes receiving a set of social media information for at least one entity and calculating a social media measurement where the social media measurement is associated with the set of social media information. The method further includes receiving a set of online profile information for the at least one entity, the set of online profile information being associated with one or more non-social media online profiles, and calculating an online profile measurement wherein the online profile measurement is associated with the set of online profile information. Abstract: A method includes analyzing a cluster of conceptually-related portions of text to develop a model and calculating a novelty measurement between a first identified conceptually-related portion of text and the model. The method further includes transmitting a second identified conceptually-related portion of text and a score associated with the novelty measurement from a server to an access device via a signal. Another method includes determining at least two corpora of conceptually-related portions of text. The method also includes calculating a common neighbors similarity measurement between the at least two corpora of conceptually-related portions of text and if the common neighbors similarity measurement exceeds a threshold, merging the at least two corpora of conceptually-related portions of text into a cluster or if the common neighbors similarity measurement does not exceed a threshold, maintaining a non-merge of the at least two corpora of conceptually-related portions of text.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to implementing image-based retrieval of a cited reference in a written work. A unique alphanumeric identifier extracted from an image taken of a portion of a written work can be programmatically compared to stored identifiers in an authority database in response to a request received from a portable computing device. Cited reference data can be retrieved from the authority database in response to a favorably comparison of the unique alphanumeric identifier to at least one of the stored identifiers associated with a reference stored in the authority database and the cited reference data can be provided to the portable computing device for output on the display of the portable computing device.

Abstract: An embodiment of a method of providing identity services includes: receiving identity data for an individual for which the identity provider has provided an identity; generating a transaction to store an identifier representing the identity data in a data structure on a blockchain of a distributed system; sending the transaction to at least one node of the distributed system; and generating an identity token incorporating the identifier representing the identity data. An embodiment of a method of verifying an identity includes: receiving data extracted from the identity token, wherein the extracted data includes an identifier representing the identity data; determining whether a data structure containing the extracted identifier representing the identity data is stored on a blockchain of a distributed system; and outputting an indication of a validity of an identity associated with the identity data based on the determination.

Abstract: A method for using a messaging program across a multiple applications and communications environment includes engaging a multiple applications and communications environment. The multiple applications and communications environment comprises at least one primary application and at least one secondary application. The at least one primary application is associated with a primary work product object and the at least one secondary application is associated with a secondary work product object. The primary work product object and the secondary work product object are associated with a work product matter. The method further includes configuring a messaging program to establish a first chat instance within the primary work product object and a second chat instance within the secondary work product object. The first chat instance and the second chat instance are determined by a set of permissions related to the primary work product object.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided through which data parseable against a document type definition by generating a list of a possible paths of an input element that is not encoded against the document type definition, determining the path that is the best fit with the document type definition, and then generating the element in the syntax of the document type definition. Determining the path that is the best fit includes parsing the path against the document type definition. The best fit is expressed in a scoring scale, in which the best score indicates the best fit. Thereafter, the path with the best fit is translated in accordance to the document type definition or markup language.
