A first connector, for connecting to a muzzle attachment, is located proximate to the first end. The first connector allows for axial movement of the muzzle attachment but prevents radial movement of the connected muzzle attachment. A second connector is located proximate to the second end. The second connector connects the attachment device to the firearm.
