Abstract: An apparatus and method for projecting reference aids at sites characterized by continuous activity over periods which long enough to encompass both full daylight and artificial light only ambient lighting conditions. Variations in ambient light intensity are detected over the course of the activity period, and at least one laser projection system is operated responsive to the detecting to project a line which is visible continuously throughout the site activity period. The projected line serves as a reference aid for guiding operation of vehicles and equipment as they approach or depart a particular processing station of the site.
Abstract: A nozzle discharge assembly includes a housing having a connection for receiving a pressurized supply of liquid and a nozzle having a discharge orifice movable relative to the housing. A mechanism controls a movement of the discharge orifice so that the discharge orifice moves in a pattern relative to the housing for creating a substantially helical stream of liquid when the pressurized supply of liquid flows through the discharge orifice.
Abstract: A hands-free aural device holder for hands-free use of an aural device that is designed to be held up to a user's ear is connectable to the device and defines at least a portion of a pocket for receiving the top of a user's ear when the holder is connected to the device. The pocket thus formed is configured to cover a top of the user's ear when the user's ear is received in the pocket such that the holder and the aural device connected to the holder are supported and retained on the user's ear, thereby allowing hands-free use of the aural device connectable to the holder.
