Abstract: A securing device for securing several pipes during storage and transport has pipe securing bodies that in an operating position are positioned above and below each pipe layer. The pipe securing bodies have a top side and a bottom side with oppositely positioned, spaced-apart recesses for pipes. A clamping arrangement is arranged at both end faces of the pipe securing bodies and clamps the pipe securing bodies to a clamped unit. The clamping arrangement has a first hook and a second hook at opposite ends. A lever device is arranged between the first and second hooks and acts on the hooks so as to transfer them with a leverage force from a released position, in which the securing device can be mounted and demounted, into an operating position. A relative spacing of the first and second hooks in the operating position is smaller than in the released position.

Abstract: A two-part protector for a pipe end provided with an external thread or internal thread has a substantially cylindrical thread part of plastic material that covers the thread of the pipe end and further has a sleeve of metal that is also substantially cylindrical and supports the threaded part rearwardly. The threaded part and the sleeve engage one another lockingly by locking projections and locking cutouts. The sleeve, with a terminal edge that is leading when realizing the locking action, is pressed at least near the locking recesses tightly against the threaded part.

Abstract: Apparatus for supporting pipes during their storage and transport includes pipe holders having an operating position in which the pipe holders are disposed in superimposed spaced relationship. Pipes are disposed in the spaces between the pipe holders, the pipe holders having an upper side and a lower side with the upper and lower sides having opposed spaced apart recesses for accommodating the pipes. A clamping device is provided for clamping the pipe holders and the pipes into a clamped unit.
