  • Patent number: 11501003
Abstract: A computing system and method to implement a three-dimensional virtual reality world having user created virtual objects. During the creation of a virtual object, a user of the virtual reality world identifies components and/or resources of the virtual object, such as a mesh model defining the shape of the virtual object, an image specifying the appearance of the virtual object, and a script defining the run time behavior of the virtual object. The computer system examines the components and/or resources duration the creation process of the virtual object to detect and/or address security threats and/or performance hurdles. Before the approval of the publication of the virtual object in the virtual world, the computer system performs a simulation of the rendering of the virtual object to detect security threats and evaluate performance impacts.

  • Publication number: 20040028547
Abstract: A dual chamber or double sided rotary pump includes a stator housing and a rotor. The stator housing has an oblong inner surface. The rotor, which is disposed in the stator housing, has a substantially circular outer surface within which a plurality of vane slots are defined. A first chamber is defined between a first half of the oblong inner surface and the outer surface of the rotor. Similarly, a second chamber is defined between a second half of the oblong inner surface, diametrically opposite the first half, and the outer surface of the rotor. Resting within each of the plurality of vane slots is a corresponding sliding vane. A first inlet port and a first outlet port each provide access to the first chamber. Similarly, a second inlet port and a second outlet port each provide access to the second chamber. At least one of the vanes separates each of the first inlet port, the first outlet port, the second inlet port and the second outlet port from one another.

  • Patent number: RE34929
Abstract: A plastic bag for vacuum packaging comprises an inner layer of heat sealable thermoplastic material which incorporates interconected air channels on its inner surface and an outer layer of gas impermeable material. Optionally, one or more intermediate layers may be included between the inner layer and the outer layer. The inner layer and the outer layer, and any intermediate layers, are joined together such that no air pockets exist between the inner layer and the outer layer.
