Abstract: The invention concerns a bicycle pedal and fastening shoe assembly (C), the pedal comprising a body rotatably mounted on an axle (3) and, at least on one side of the body a chain-wheel above the pedal axle; front abutting means (9) extending parallel to the geometrical axis (A) of the pedal at the rear of said axis designed to co-operate with a front abutting surface (26) of the shoe; a retaining member (10) mounted on the pedal, pressed by elastic return means against the rear of the shoe, and retaining means towards the top provided on the pedal to co-operate with a combined means of the shoe.
Abstract: A bicycle includes fork head (2) from which two sleeves (3a,3b) branch off and, on the side opposite to the sleeves, a tubular pivot (4) including a lower cylindrical portion (4a) integral with the fork head, and an upper cylindrical portion (4b) for fixing a stem. The external diameter (Da) of the lower cylindrical portion (4a) of the pivot is larger than the external diameter (Db) of the upper cylindrical portion (4b) of the pivot, and a transitional zone (4c) links the two parts (4a,4b) with different diameters.
Abstract: A cycle pedal comprising a body (1) mounted to rotate about a pedal spindle (2), with a front hoop (4a), comprising an attachment bar (5a) situated in front of the pedal spindle and substantially parallel to this spindle;
Abstract: A bicycle fork tubular pivot (5) includes a cylindrical wall having a longitudinal geometrical axis (X—X), made of a composite material and including at least a reinforcing inner longitudinal partition (7, 8), in particular a partition (7) parallel to the bicycle center line (P), and a partition (8) orthogonal to the former.
Abstract: A bicycle pedal with safety fixing for a shoe equipped beneath the sole with a cleat includes a retaining device able to cooperate with the catch so as to ensure retention of the cleat and of the shoe upward and forward, and a holding member that is situated at the rear of the pedal and mounted movably along the longitudinal direction, and is able to be applied by a first elastic return device against the rear of the cleat so as to thrust it against the retaining device and ensure fastening. The retaining device is mounted in such a way as to be able to be displaced forward, countering a second elastic return device, in particular under the action of a thrust exerted by the cleat, and to return to the position of fastening of a catch of the cleat under the action of the second elastic return device.
Abstract: A composite bicycle frame comprises a diagonal down tube connected via a bottom bracket to a saddle tube and two rear forks, back stays, and a cross-bar between the top of the saddle tube and the steering tube. The diagonal tube, saddle tube, and rear forks form a first sub-assembly which is molded in one piece, while the cross-bar, saddle joint and upper end of the steering tube form a second sub-assembly, also in one piece, and the two sub-assemblies are joined with adhesive.
