Abstract: Networked travel time prediction systems and methods are disclosed. Users on the system may share location, travel time, destination, and location information with their peers. Travel time predictions may be calculated using historical route information, which may be weighted based on various characteristics thereof. Time fences are taught defined by a fixed travel time, for example. Prediction request methods are taught using, for example, formatted requests, identity providers, privacy assertions, geo-location servers, and time prediction servers.
