Abstract: An electrical interconnection system is described. The electrical interconnection system comprises a first contact and a second contact configured electrically couple together. The system also comprises a receptacle assembly including a receptacle shell and a first retaining ring secured within the receptacle shell. The receptacle assembly is configured to couple the first contact to the receptacle shell. The system further comprises a plug assembly including a plug shell and a second retaining ring secured within the plug shell. The plug assembly is configured to couple the second contact to the plug shell. The receptacle shell and the plug shell are further configured to align the first contact and the second contact for coupling together.

Abstract: A device for electrically grounding bundled cables includes a first half component having an outer surface portion and an abutting surface portion, and a second half component having an outer surface portion and an abutting surface portion. The outer surface portion of the first half component and the outer surface portion of the second half component each define at least one groove longitudinally extending therealong for accommodating one of a plurality of cables held closely together in a bundled configuration. The abutting surface portion of the first half component and the abutting surface portion of the second half component are configured for engaging and cooperating with one another to form a grounding structure.

Abstract: A handgrip device for a coaxial cable includes a first longitudinal section having an inner wall defining a first channel extending therethrough for receiving a connector of a coaxial cable. The first channel has generally a first diameter. A second longitudinal section is generally adjacent to the first longitudinal section for receiving a coaxial cable. The second longitudinal section has an inner wall defining a second channel extending therethrough and communicates with the first channel. The second channel has generally a second diameter which is greater than the first diameter of the first channel such that a space is maintained between the inner wall of the second channel and a coaxial cable when disposed in the second channel, whereby the space protects the coaxial cable adjacent to the connector from damage when fastening or unfastening the connector.
