Abstract: Pump assisted vacuum therapy impotence treatment apparatus may be provided in either electric or manually operated embodiments. The axis of a pump housing affixed to a vacuum chamber via an elastomeric coupler is at an angle to the vacuum chamber axis, and turned towards a user's torso to be drawn into the user's body for better vacuum sealing. The pump cylinder of a manual embodiment has an enlarged annular rest area for receiving a resilient skirt around the piston head during nonuse of the pump. This prevents compression set of the resilient skirt, for more reliable subsequent use of the pump. The vacuum chamber is tapered and transitions from a relatively smaller round end for receipt of a male sex organ to a relatively larger oval shaped end for bayonet mounting on the resilient coupler. A pair of sizing inserts adjusts the vacuum chamber end which receives the male sex organ.

Abstract: An occlusive apparatus and method for reversibly occluding fluid conveying vessels in the body. In one embodiment, the occlusive apparatus includes an occlusive member adapted for at least partially encircling a vessel, with the occlusive member including an intrinsic spring force therein for exerting an occluding pressure on the vessel while the occlusive member at least partially encircles the vessel. A control mechanism is operatively connected to the occlusive member, with the control mechanism being arranged and configured to counteract the intrinsic spring force of the occlusive member and thereby remove the occluding pressure on the vessel while the occlusive member is at least partially encircling the vessel.

Abstract: A pelvic floor muscle weight training kit includes a casing with a cap and a bottom, a set of weights, and a retaining member mounted on each of the weights. The cap has a first inside thread, and the bottom has a second inside thread. Each of the weights is different in shape and weight and is replaced in the casing individually. The retaining member has a third thread. The first and second threads of the casing are capable of being threaded with the third thread of the retaining member such that each of the weights is retained in a universal casing individually. The pelvic floor muscle weight training kit also provides for a method of testing and/or exercising pelvic floor muscles.
