Patent number: 8371657Abstract: A transport assembly for transporting granular material may define at least a first egress for releasing a first portion of a granular material. The device may also include a door assembly slidably coupled with the transport assembly for at least substantially covering the first egress in a first position for retaining granular material and for at least substantially uncovering the first egress in a second position for controllably releasing the first portion of the granular material. The device may also include a linear actuator assembly coupled with the transport assembly and the door assembly for moving the door assembly between the first position and the second position. The device may also include a pump assembly coupled with the linear actuator assembly for actuating the linear actuator assembly to move the door assembly between the first position and the second position.Type: GrantFiled: February 4, 2011Date of Patent: February 12, 2013Assignee: Timpte, Inc.Inventor: Terry J. Patent number: 6814532Abstract: A self-unloading, bottom-discharge trailer and a discharge conveyor therefore, are provided. In a working position, the discharge conveyor transports material from a trailer container upwards beyond the rear of the trailer for depositing into storage. In a transport position, a rear section of the discharge conveyor is folded downwards into a substantially vertical position, resting against the rear of the trailer frame and not substantially protruding beyond the back of the trailer. The frame may include a recess sized to accommodate the rear section such that the rear section is substantially flush with the rear of the frame. Consequently, the trailer may remain in compliance with highway safety regulations.Type: GrantFiled: May 5, 2003Date of Patent: November 9, 2004Assignee: Timpte, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey B. Patent number: 6736297Abstract: A closure device for sealing an aperture of a storage container includes a trap frame, and a trap door connected to the trap frame for movement with respect to the trap frame. The trap door is movable between an open condition and a closed condition, and the trap door in the closed condition seals the aperture. The trap door includes a traversing frame having two side supports and multiple inner rollers extending between the side supports. A belt surrounds the traversing frame, and revolves around the traversing frame as the trap door moves between the open and closed condition. The belt is connected to the trap frame such that at least a portion of the belt remains stationary in relation to the trap frame while the traversing frame moves, and at least a portion of the belt moves in relation to the trap frame while the traversing frame moves.Type: GrantFiled: February 28, 2002Date of Patent: May 18, 2004Assignee: Timpte Inc.Inventors: James E. Kassian, Richard D. Jedlicka, Justin M. Bell
