Abstract: In order to prevent damage due to inappropriate or unsuitable blades mounted in grinding machines such as cutters or mincers, the blades are equipped with a sensor chip which serves as a data memory and whose data serve as actual values for an actual value/set value comparison. The result of this comparison determines whether the grinding machine can or cannot be turned on.
