The slide-out room (204) includes an outer room wall (206). As the slide-out room (204) is extended, a gap (208) is formed between the room wall (206) and the residential vehicle sidewall (207). The system (200) includes a vertical seal assembly (210) and a horizontal seal assembly (212). The horizontal seal assembly (212) runs along the top wall or ceiling. The vertical seal assembly (210) and horizontal seal assembly (212) are coupled together through the use of a corner seal assembly (214). The system (200) includes a pair of jacket assemblies (220) coupled together through the use of a flexible hinge assembly (226). Each assembly (220) includes a leg (230) having a main body (232) and a straight edge (234).

Abstract: A seal assembly (400) is used with a slide-out room in a mobile living quarters. The seal assembly (400) includes three sealing lips (402) which are adapted to abut a top phalange (406) of a slide-out room when the room is a retracted position. The sigma seal (400) includes a pair of opposing concave walls 404 which are adapted to collapse when the slide-out room is in a retracted position. The sigma seal (400) is further adapted to be secured to a wall or a static surface (410) of a mobile living quarters.

Abstract: A buildable seal assembly (100) is used with a jacket (102) which is connected to a sidewall (14) and slide out room (12) of a conventional RV or similar mobile equipment or mobile living quarters (10). A right angled seal element (132) is coupled to the jacket (102) in a snap in configuration. The right angled seal element (132) is further coupled to a bulb (152) and a wiper component (146). The bulb (152) and wiper component (146) assist in providing a seal between the mobile living quarters (10) and the slide out room (12) when the room (12) is in a retracted, closed position or an extended, open position.

Abstract: A corner rail assembly (156) is adapted to be coupled to a corner section (114) of a recreational vehicle (100). The assembly includes a jacket (158) having a main body (160), first leg (162) and second leg (164). A metal insert (180) is formed within an extrusion of said jacket (158). A securing tape (188) in the form of a VHB tape secures the jacket (158) to a front wall (110) of the vehicle (100). A further tape (190) located on an inner side of said first leg (162) affixes the first leg (162) to the side wall (112) of the vehicle (100). A vinyl gimp (192) is releasably coupled to the corner rail assembly (156). A further embodiment of the corner rail assembly (200) includes a mushroom cap insert (216) in place of the vinyl gimp (192).
