At least one indicia portion (4, 12, 13, 20, 25, 35, 36, 40a, 40b) is disposed in front of the eyepiece lens element, for indicating information related to a taking field. At least one micro lens (5, 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b, 9a, 9b, 14, 17, 22, 30, 32a, 32b) has positive power, is disposed behind the indicia portion, renders an image of the indicia portion observable, and meets0.5.ltoreq.2e.multidot.tan .theta..ltoreq.2.5where e is a distance from the micro lens to the eye point, and .theta. is a half of an angle defined by a convex surface of the micro lens as viewed from the eye point.
