Patents Assigned to Tohken Co., Ltd.
  • Patent number: 7221731
Abstract: To provide an X-ray microscopic inspection apparatus capable of performing non-destructive inspection with high resolving power within a very short period, and having advantageous functions such as a high precision electron probe control function, a CT function, an elemental analysis function, and a target switching function. The apparatus includes a magnetic superposition lens having a magnetic field generating portion disposed in the vicinity of an electron generating portion of an electron gun; reflected electron detecting means having a detecting portion disposed above the target for X-ray generation, for detecting a reflected electron from the target; and electron image generating means for performing imaging of a target surface utilizing the signals from the reflected electron detecting means, wherein the apparatus is arranged so that alignment including focus adjustment to the target for X-ray generation and astigmatism correction may be performed based on image information of the electron image.

  • Patent number: 7218703
Abstract: To provide an X-ray microscopic inspection apparatus capable of performing non-destructive inspection with high resolving power equal to or less than 0.1 ?m in a very short period, and largely contributing to the nano-technology field. In the X-ray microscopic inspection apparatus having X-ray generating means for generating an X-ray by allowing an electron beam from an electron source to impinge on a target for X-ray generation, for inspecting an object to be inspected by utilizing the X-ray, a magnetic field superposition lens having a magnetic field generating portion disposed in the vicinity of an electron generating portion of an electron gun is included as a component element of the X-ray generating means. Further, the apparatus includes a liquid metal electron source using liquid metal or a thermal field emission electron source as the electron source, as a component element of the X-ray generating means.

  • Patent number: 6976631
Abstract: A code reader for color images, which can simultaneously accept a one-dimensional code or a two-dimensional code and data of a color image of a subject for management and which can record both the data in mapping with each other, is provided. The code reader comprises color image pickup structure for picking up the code and also a color image of a subject for management as is specified by identification information contained in the code; code-recognizing-data extraction structure for extracting luminance data from the color image data picked up by the color image pickup structure, and for writing gray scale data into a first frame memory as data for recognizing the code; and recorded-image extraction structure for extracting color data from the color image data picked up by the color image pickup structure, and for writing the color data into a second frame memory.

  • Patent number: 5744789
Abstract: In a bar-code reader of the present invention, data of a bar-code can be inputted easily into a personal computer without any limits on the area in which it can be used. The bar-code reader includes the functions of a PC card. A reading section for reading the data of the bar-code is formed on one corner portion of a body of the bar-code reader. Ten keys for inputting an instructions, such as for registering, deleting, or displaying of the data of the bar-code, or for guidance, are formed on an upper surface of the body of the bar-code reader. A displaying section formed of a liquid crystal for displaying predetermined information is also formed on the upper surface thereof. Furthermore, formed in a shorter side of the body are terminals for connecting the bar-code reader to the personal computer when the bar-code reader is inserted into a PC card slot formed in the personal computer.

  • Patent number: 4662044
Abstract: A descaler for removing scale from steel billet before rolling of the steel billet. The descaler has a plurality of steel wire brush units each being constituted by an elongated supporting member and a multiplicity of steel wires arranged densely along the length of the supporting member and attached to the same. The steel wire brush units are loosely mounted on a rotary drum with their supporting members extending in parallel with the axis of the drum for limited radial movement and circumferential rocking movement with respect to the rotary drum. In operation of the descaler, the steel wire brush units are projected radially outwardly by the action of the centrifugal force to strongly strike and hit the billet surface to promote the removal of the scale. Since the flexing of each wire is resisted by the bundle of densely arranged steel wires, the breakage of the steel wires is suppresed to ensure a longer life of the descaler.
