Abstract: A voltage adjustment device, a voltage adjusting method and a power control system for a distribution system are provided, in which the voltage adjustment device and a static var compensator are appropriately operated in a coordinated manner and the sustention of voltage and the enhancement of the operation efficiency are attained. A voltage adjustment device for a distribution system is installed in the distribution system including a static var compensator on an end side and controls a secondary voltage to be within a predetermined limit value by adjusting a tap position.

Abstract: In a cooling structure for a recovery-type air-cooled gas turbine combustor having a recovery-type air-cooling structure that bleeds, upstream of the combustor, and pressurizes compressed air supplied from a compressor, that uses the bled and pressurized air to cool a wall, and that recovers and reuses the bled and pressurized air as combustion air for burning fuel in the combustor together with a main flow of the compressed air, wall cooling in which cooling air is supplied to cooling air passages formed in the wall of the combustor to perform cooling involves a downstream wall region, closer to a turbine, that is cooled using the bled and pressurized air as the cooling air and an upstream wall region, closer to a burner, that is cooled using, as the cooling air, bled compressed air bled from a main flow of the compressed air through a housing inner space.

Abstract: A mixture of metal ions is added to the primary cooling water of a water-cooled nuclear reactor to inhibit deposition of radioactive materials in the cooling water on the inner surfaces of pipes. The mixture of metal ions added to the cooling water introduced into the primary cooling system simultaneously comprises two to four of the metal ions, Mn ion, Mg ion, Ni ion and Zn ion, one of these ions being manganese ion.
