Abstract: A positive resist composition includes a base material component (A) which exhibits increased alkali solubility under an action of an acid, and an acid generator component (B) which generates an acid upon exposure, wherein the base material component (A) contains a compound (A1) in which phenolic hydroxyl groups in a polyhydric phenol compound (a) containing two or more phenolic hydroxyl groups and having a molecular weight of 300 to 2,500 are protected with acid dissociable, dissolution inhibiting groups, and the compound (A1) exhibits a standard deviation (sn) of the number of protective groups per molecule of less than 1, or exhibits a standard deviation (sp) of a protection ratio (mol %) per molecule of less than 16.7.
Abstract: An automobile fuel control system for an automobile internal combustion engine includes a composition sensor for detecting the concentration of oxygen contained in the exhaust gases emitted from the engine, a mixing ratio control including a compensator for compensating for variations of the mixing ratio of the combustible air-fuel mixture being supplied to the engine, a temperature detector for detecting the temperature of the engine and for generating a first signal indicative of a first predetermined engine temperature and for generating a second signal indicative of a second predetermined engine temperature higher than the first predetermined engine temperature, and an exhaust gas recirculating system including an electromagnetically operated valve for selectively establishing and interrupting the communication between the exhaust passage and the fuel intake passage.
Abstract: An automobile front body construction which includes a reinforced beam assembly extending between a pair of front pillars. The reinforced beam assembly includes an elongated main frame member of generally U-shaped cross-section, having a wall section and upper and lower flanges protruding from the wall section generally at right angles thereto. The main frame member also has a generally rectangular opening extending in face-to-face relation to the wall section and over the entire length thereof. An elongated closure member closes the rectangular opening and is positioned in spaced and face-to-face relation to the wall section, the opposite end portions of the wall section being rigidly secured to an upper dash panel. The opposite ends of the closure member are rigidly connected to the respective front pillars.
