Abstract: A device for guiding cables has a pair of rotors and detent elements fitted to the periphery of each of the rotors at an equal circumferential interval, wherein the detent elements of one of the paired rotors are so disposed as to be engaged with those of the counterpart rotor; the detent elements are each so arranged as to define a space for allowing the passage of a carrier suspension members hanging from a cable; a cable-guiding section is provided adjacent to the detent elements of one of the paired rotors to support and guide the cable in co-operation with the cable-guiding section of the counterpart rotor.
