Abstract: An n-type region isolated by a p-type region is formed on a p-type substrate. Within the n-type region, in order to constitute an npn-transistor, an n.sup.+ region, a p-type region and an n.sup.+ region are formed. Within the n-type region, a p-type region is formed, and an insulating film and a metal layer are successively stacked on the p-type region to form an oxide film capacitor. The p-type region of the oxide film capacitor is in contact with the n.sup.+ region of the npn-transistor by means of a metal wiring. Within a p-type region of the oxide film capacitor, an n.sup.+ region is further formed. An additional npn-transistor may be formed by the n.sup.+ region, the p-type region and n-type region.

  • Patent number: 4633420
Abstract: A profile measurement apparatus using radiation is disclosed which has three radiation sources and three arcuated multi-channel radiation detectors corresponding to the radiation sources. A rolled steel sheet or strip is conveyed between the radiation sources and the radiation detectors. The sector-shaped radiation beams respectively are radiated by the radiation sources to partially pass through the strip and to respectively incident on the corresponding radiation detectors, which produce profile signals corresponding to the intensities of the incident radiation beams. A microprocessor produces an image signal indicating the sectional shape of an irradiated linear area throughout the entire width of the strip in accordance with the profile signals and causes the display device to display the sectional shape. A mono-channel radiation detector is disposed near the multi-channel radiation detectors to constantly measure a partial thickness of the central portion of the strip.

  • Patent number: 4633390
Abstract: A microprogram control system of the invention has a mapping read only memory storing the respective initial addresses of a plurality of microprogram routines corresponding to a macroinstruction. The address input information to this mapping read only memory is obtained from an output of a binary counter which counts every time a JUMP instruction for making a branch to another microprogram routine is decoded, and from an output of a latch circuit for holding the operation code of the macroinstruction. When the microprogram routine has loops, a count inhibit signal is input to the binary counter so that the same address input information may be supplied to the mapping read only memory.

  • Patent number: 4631395
Abstract: Optical apparatus for controlling the focusing and positional accuracy of a light beam incident on an optical disk tracking guide in an optical read/write system. Laser beams are converged by an objective lens and directed onto the tracking guide to form a beam spot. Light reflected from the tracking guide is reconverged by the objective lens and directed toward a light shielding plate. The reflected light contains an image of the beam spot and diffraction patterns within the beam spot image which are caused by light reflected from the tracking guide. The plate allows only a portion of the reconverged light beam to pass, a portion which is displaced from the optical axis of the beam. The passed portion is converged by a projection lens and passed to a cylindrical lens. The beam spot image in the light passing through the cylindrical lens will become elongated. This light is directed to a photosensitive surface having a plurality of signal producing photosensitive regions.
