    Abstract: A system for treating wastewater comprising a treatment tank divided into three fluidly interconnected compartments, the first compartment being a blending cell divided into an upper anaerobic compartment and a lower aerobic compartment. The second compartment is a decomposition cell, the third compartment is a purification cell and air is selectively introduced into each of the cells thereby providing a wastewater treatment system having the hydraulic flows and oxygen necessary to optimize the aerobic processes.
