Patents Assigned to Tomco2 Equipment Company
  • Patent number: 7767157
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for increasing the concentration of hypochlorous acid in a quantity of water. Acid is injected into chlorinated water to decrease the pH of the chlorinated water. By decreasing the pH, the hypochlorite/hypochlorous acid equilibrium of the chlorinated water is shifted to increase the concentration of hypochlorous acid on the treated water.

  • Patent number: 6983929
Abstract: A diffuser for use in a pressurized feed system. The diffuser introduces a carbonic acid solution into water to be treated. The carbonic acid solution within the diffuser is maintained at an elevated pressure. As the carbonic acid solution passes to the exterior of the diffuser, the pressure drop causes an effective mixing of the carbonic acid solution and the water. The carbonic acid solution mixes with the water and the pH of the water is reduced.

  • Patent number: 4780119
Abstract: Carbon dioxide (CO.sub.2) solid discs (dry ice) are produced from liquid carbon dioxide injected into an extrusion cylinder in which the extrusion piston compresses dry snow and extrudes it through a fixed die, thereby producing pellets of dry ice which are fed by gravity into a forming cylinder chamber in which is operated a hydraulic cylinder compresses the pellets into discs. The operation is controlled by switches and hydraulic system.
