Abstract: Device for screwing caps onto bottles and similar containers includes a work station, which supports means for gripping the caps and which moves toward and away from the bottles, carried by a relative feeding line. Actuator means, associated to the work station, drive the gripping means into rotation, so as to screw the caps onto the corresponding open heads of the bottles. Working means for friction coupling of the actuator means with the gripping means, are operated in step relation with the positioning of the caps close to the open heads of the bottles.
