  • Patent number: 10114223
Abstract: An imaging device includes at least one eyeglass lens to be worn in front of the eye and a display device arranged in the edge region of the eyeglass lens, said display device including an image generator and an imaging optics arranged between the image generator and the eyeglass lens. The image generator is the start point of an imaging beam path which generates the virtual image having an image distance on the basis of the output image and which penetrates into the eyeglass lens by means of the imaging optics via the edge region of the eyeglass lens. An outcoupling device for outcoupling the imaging beam path in the direction of the eye is provided in the eyeglass lens. The display device comprises a device for adjusting the image distance of the virtual image. The invention also relates to data eyeglasses comprising an imaging device.

  • Patent number: 10012839
Abstract: A first side of the outer shell of a spectacle lens faces away from the inner shell and forms the front side of the spectacle lens, and the first side of the inner shell faces away from the outer shell and forms the rear side of the spectacle lens. The outer shell includes the coupling-in section, the light guiding channel and the coupling-out section. The inner shell includes an opening which extends from the second side of the inner shell, which faces towards the outer shell, in the direction of the rear side and in which the light guiding channel sits. The coupling-out section lies next to the opening such that the light bundles coupled out by the coupling-out section enter the inner shell via the second side of the inner shell, run through the inner shell and leave the inner shell via the rear side.

  • Patent number: 9995934
Abstract: A spectacle lens for a display device that can be fitted on the head of a user and generate an image guides light bundles of pixels of the generated image, which are coupled into the spectacle lens via the coupling-in section of the spectacle lens, in the spectacle lens by reflections on the rear side and a reflecting surface lying opposite this to the coupling-out section and coupling them out of the spectacle lens via the coupling-out section. A splitter layer reflects a portion of light bundles reflected by the rear side towards the rear side and transmits a portion, wherein after reflection on the rear side the reflected portion strikes the splitter layer again and there, once again, is partially reflected towards the rear side and partially transmitted. The transmitted portions strike the facets are coupled out of the spectacle lens through the splitter layer and the rear side.
