Patents Assigned to Topia Technology
  • Patent number: 11899618
Abstract: A server system selectively executes a first application and receives from a second application executable on a first electronic device a copy of a first electronic file automatically transferred from the second application in response to a modification to content of the first electronic file and receives from a third application a copy of a second electronic file automatically transferred from the third application in response to a modification to content of the second electronic file. The server system automatically transfers the copy of the first electronic file to a second electronic device to provide a newer version of the first electronic file to the second electronic device and automatically transfers the copy of the second electronic file to the first electronic device to provide a newer version of the second electronic file to the first electronic device.

  • Patent number: 11783056
Abstract: In some embodiments, a first device may generate a data block for an ordered set of data blocks such that the data block is cryptographically chained to a given data block preceding the data block in the ordered set. The first device may obtain an encryption key used to encrypt information related to the data block, and use group members' keys to encrypt the encryption key to generate a group key. As an example, the group's members may include a first member associated with the first device and other members. The keys used to encrypt the encryption key may include the other members' keys. The first device may transmit the ordered set and the group key to a communication resource (e.g., accessible by the members). Other devices (associated with the other members) may use the ordered set and the group key to obtain content related to the ordered set.

  • Publication number: 20230004527
Abstract: A server system, based on content of a first file stored on a first client device being modified, automatically receives a copy of the modified first file from a first transfer client, implemented on the first client device, the copy of the modified first file being an updated version of the first file generated from content of the first file being modified. The server system receives, from the first transfer client, first metadata associated with the updated version of the first file, the first metadata being assigned a first priority greater than a second priority assigned to the copy of the modified first file. The server system automatically transfers the first metadata to a second transfer client, implemented on a second client device, before the copy of the modified first file is transferred to the second transfer client to be stored on the second client device.

  • Patent number: 11533321
Abstract: In an embodiment, a request for hosting a blockchain may be obtained from a client device. A node device to host the blockchain may be determined. Information associated with the node device may be provided to the client device, where the information is used for creating the blockchain on the node device. First data may be obtained from the client device and second data may be obtained from the node device for verifying that the node device hosting the blockchain complies with a hosting verification condition. Based on the first data, the second data, and the hosting verification condition, hosting information associated with the node device may be determined. Based on the hosting information, the node device may be removed from a set of node devices for hosting the blockchain.

  • Patent number: 11003622
Abstract: In certain embodiments, automatic modification-triggered transfer of a file among two or more computer systems associated with a user. In some embodiments, a copy of a first file may be received, via a first application at a first computer system, from a second application at a second computer system associated with a user. The first file copy may be automatically received from the second application responsive to the user modifying a content of the first file, where the first file copy is a version of the first file that is generated from the user modifying the content of the first file. Responsive to receiving the first file copy from the second computer system, the first file copy may be automatically transferred via the first application to a third computer system associated with the user to replace an older version of the first file stored on the third computer system.

  • Patent number: 10754823
Abstract: In some embodiments, responsive to a user modifying a content of the file at a first client device (associated with the user), a server system may automatically receive a copy of the file from the first client device, where the file copy may be an updated version of the file that is generated from the user modifying the content of the file. After receiving metadata associated with the updated version of the file from the first client device, the server system may automatically transfer the metadata to a second client device associated with the user such that, before the file copy is transferred to the second client device, the transfer of the metadata to the second client device causes a graphical availability indication of the updated version of the file to be presented (e.g., proximate a file icon representing the file) at the second client device based on the metadata.

  • Patent number: 9990502
Abstract: Systems and methods for security hardening of a file in transit and at rest via segmentation, shuffling and multi-key encryption are presented. The method including segmenting at a first computer system a file into a plurality of file segments, and encrypting the plurality of file segments using a plurality of encryption keys in order to generate a corresponding plurality of encrypted file segments, wherein each file segment of the plurality of file segments is encrypted using a respective encryption key of the plurality of encryption keys. Additionally included is bidirectional data transformation of a file by obfuscating at a first computer system digital values of the file in order to generate corresponding obfuscated digital values of the file, wherein the obfuscated digital values of the file retain their contextual integrity and referential integrity.
