A photomask blank is for fabricating a photomask for an exposure wavelength of 193 nm, the photomask blank comprising: a light-transmissive substrate; a phase shift film formed on the light-transmissive substrate and providing phase shift effects of a light transmittance of at least 30% with respect to exposure light; and a light-shielding film formed on the phase shift film. The phase shift film is constituted by lamination of: a first phase shift film (that uses a silicon nitride-based material, has a refractive index n1 of 2.5 to 2.7, and an extinction coefficient k1 of 0.2 to 0.4; and a second phase shift film that uses a silicon oxynitride-based material, has a refractive index n2 of 1.55 to 2.20, and an extinction coefficient k2 greater than 0 but no greater than 0.1.
Abstract: There is provided a polymer network liquid crystal display device for image display according to an input image signal. The device includes a determination unit configured to determine whether an image for display according to the image signal is a moving image or a still image, and a correction unit configured to correct a hysteresis of the image for display, based on a result of the determination by the determination unit.
Abstract: A decorative sheet comprises a transparent resin layer containing a polyolefin-based resin, and a surface protective layer containing a thermosetting resin and provided on a front surface side of the transparent resin layer. Further, an uneven pattern is provided on a front surface of the surface protective layer. A percentage of a surface waviness of the decorative sheet after molding to a surface waviness of the decorative sheet before molding, which is defined as a residual embossing ratio, is 30% or more; and an absolute value of a difference between a gloss of a surface of the decorative sheet before molding and a gloss of the surface of the decorative sheet after molding, which is defined as a gloss difference, is less than 5%.
Abstract: A method for generating color conversion information including providing a user with color sample information for determining a color sample of which color characteristic information is known, receiving, from the user, an image including the color sample determined by the color sample information in a lighting environment, and generating color conversion information which corresponds to the lighting environment and is correlated with the user, based on the image and the color characteristic information of the color sample determined by the color sample information. The color conversion information converts between color information and color characteristic information, the color information is information which corresponds to a lighting environment and indicates colors of an object in the lighting environment, and the color characteristic information indicates color characteristics of the object.
Abstract: A method includes: sandwiching a plastic layer between a glass substrate and a metal plate made of an iron-nickel alloy and joining the metal plate to the glass substrate with the plastic layer in between; forming a mask portion including a plurality of mask holes from the metal plate; joining a surface of the mask portion that is opposite to a surface of the mask portion that is in contact with the plastic layer to a mask frame, which has a higher rigidity than the mask portion and is in a shape of a frame surrounding the mask holes of the mask portion; and peeling off the plastic layer and the glass substrate from the mask portion.
Abstract: Disclosed is a three-dimensional tissue comprising cells and collagen including endogenous collagen, wherein at least a portion of the cells is adhered to the collagen, and the content of the collagen is from 10 wt % to 90 wt % based on the three-dimensional tissue.

A decorative material according to a mode of the present invention includes a first gloss control layer provided to a front surface and a second gloss control layer provided on part of the first gloss control layer. The first gloss control layer contains a gloss control agent comprised of a hydrophilic inorganic material and a silicone-based release agent having a reactive terminal group. The reactive terminal group of the silicone-based release agent preferably has at least one of a hydroxyl group and an amino group. The second gloss control layer contains a silicone-based release agent having a reactive terminal group, and the reactive terminal group of the silicone-based release agent has at least one of an acryloyl group and a methacryloyl group.
Abstract: This invention aims to provide a novel laminate in which a first layer is formed with high positional accuracy, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. In the laminate of this invention, a relief structure forming layer includes a first region having an indented structure extending in a first direction or a direction tilted by an angle within 10 degrees to the left or right from the first direction in a plan view, and a second region including an indented structure extending in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction or a direction tilted by an angle within 65 degrees to the left or right from the second direction in a plan view.
