Abstract: A method for adding a selected attribute to a mobile asset management application is provided. The method includes displaying an import fields dialog to a user, receiving from the user a selection of a selected object of an asset database, receiving from the user a selection of the selected attribute of the selected object, retrieving a set of one or more resources, automatically modifying a build file if at least a first condition is met, automatically acquiring a new RDF file from an asset management server if at least a second condition is met, and automatically generating an updated application definition file by updating code relating to the set of retrieved resources.

Abstract: A method for testing asset management software applications includes: interfacing a user computing device with a computing server, the server being configured to execute an asset management application program; displaying, on the user computing device, a user interface configured to enable a user to perform functions associated with the asset management application program; recording a plurality of user input actions using the interface; generating a program script configured to, upon execution by the computing server, automate performance of each of the recorded plurality of user input actions; executing at least one instance of the generated program script; and measuring one or more performance metrics associated with performance of the computing server during execution of the at least one instance of the generated program script.

Abstract: A method includes: displaying an editor of an integrated development environment executed by a computing system; receiving an input command from a user; detecting existence or absence of text preceding a cursor position in the editor; identifying at least one completion attribute, the at least one attribute being based on content of text preceding the cursor position if existence of text is detected, or the editor if absence of text is detected; transmitting the identified at least one attribute to a server configured to execute asset management software; receiving a plurality of completion values from the server based on the identified at least one attribute; storing the received plurality of completion values; and displaying, for selection by the user, the plurality of completion values at the cursor position in the editor.
