    Abstract: A process is provided for the production of porous non-evaporable getter materials comprising at least one first element selected from Zr and Ti and at least one second element selected from V, Cr, Mn and Ni. The starting metal powders are produced by reduction of the corresponding oxides, with calcium hydride and the thus obtained powders are compacted and sintered at a value of pressure and temperature in a given range. The getter materials due to the production process, have a novel distribution of chemical composition through the getter body, resulting in an improved combination of mechanical and gas-sorption properties.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for cleaning the internal surface of pipes mainly from solid sediments, according to which a cleaning element is inserted into the pipe cavity and rotated at a high speed while fluid is simultaneously supplied to the pipe cavity. The cleaning element comprises a plurality of roller heads with annular grooves coupled to a housing and the roller heads are shifted relative to each other in the axial direction. During cleaning, the roller heads and the housing rotate around their respective longitudinal axes in a manner such that the rotation of the roller heads is opposite in direction relative to the rotation of the housing. While rotating, the cleaning element creates spiral grooves in the sediment and cuts off the sediment along the spiral path.

Upon turning the current off, a signal of a field magnetic component transient is measured by a meter 8 that is coupled to a magnetic component sensor 9.

The area of the tunnel cross-section in the plane of the lifting rotor rotation amounts to 0.3 to 0.8 of the area of the landing device air cushion, which ensures a safe landing of the flying machine on an unprepared landing site even with a failure of one of the engine modules.

In accordance with the invention transfer of heat removed from the object is effected successively in time in portions from stage to stage with intermediate heat storage on heat accumulators. In order to effect this, the operation of each stage is carried out in active heat removal and thermal switch modes, wherein the duration of the time intervals and values of currents flowing through the stages of the thermobattery for those modes is adjusted in the process of bringing it to the steady-state mode of operation with required values of temperatures of the object being cooled and heat accumulators and with minimum value of electric power consumption.
