The cellulose-containing resin composition includes cellulose nanocrystals containing, as cellulose, hemicellulose in an amount of 10 wt. % or less, and thereby the amount of VOCs released due to the cellulose can be reduced without using an additive, and a cellulose-containing resin composition having a lower TVOC amount than that of the resin itself can be provided.
