Abstract: Molded plastic articles having on the surface thereof a thin metal film coated in any order of succession with protective layers of (a) a coat derived from 100 parts by weight of an acrylic copolymer having a hydroxyl number of 10-150, 10-150 parts by weight of an anti-yellowing polyisocyanate and 2-10 parts by weight of an ultraviolet rays-absorbing agent and (b) a coat cured by the action of ultraviolet rays.

Abstract: A new graft copolymer composed of an ethylene/propylene/non-conjugated diene terpolymer backbone and a homopolymerized or copolymerized methacrylic ester graft moiety. The graft copolymer is produced by grafting a lower alkyl methacrylate alone or in mixture with other ethylenically unsaturated monomer or monomers copolymerizable therewith to an ethylene/propylene/non-conjugated diene terpolymer in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator. The graft copolymer is useful as resinous or rubbery component in a coating or binding composition for treating various inorganic and organic materials including glass and fibers.
