Abstract: A petroleum combustion device for heating rooms or the like comprising a primary combustion chamber, a secondary combustion chamber disposed on the primary combustion chamber and provided at that portion of its base plate which is outside an outer cylinder of the primary combustion chamber with an air path and a flame extension device arranged in the secondary combustion chamber and communicated with the upper portion of an inner flame cylinder of the primary combustion chamber.

Abstract: An oil burner of the type of pumping up a fuel oil is disclosed which has a first oil level setting means of an airtight type having an overflow pipe means constantly immersed at the lower end thereof in a fuel oil to be pumped up to the first oil level setting means and has a second oil level setting means disposed below the first oil level setting means and directly connected to a fuel oil supply tank. A fuel oil supplied from the second oil level setting means is drawn up to the first oil level setting means by a pumping-up means and subsequently supplied through a supply pipe to a combustion means. The level of a fuel oil in the first oil level setting means is kept constant at a position above the outlet end of the supply pipe. The overflow pipe means may be movable in the vertical direction so as to vary only the supply rate of a fuel oil.

Abstract: A fire extinguishing device for an oil burner capable of instantaneously and surely accomplishing the fire extinguishing with ease and without generating any bad odor. A wick receiving chamber has a width larger than the thickness of a wick received therein and an air chamber communicated to the wick receiving chamber is disposed adjacent thereto. The air chamber is adapted to be communicated to an ambient atmosphere during the combustion operation and to be shut off therefrom by means of a valve. The fire extinguishing of an oil burner is accomplished by utilizing an air stored in the air chamber.
