  • Patent number: 9440585
Abstract: The present invention aims to provide an optical axis ascertaining device for an in-vehicle camera which can simply adjust and correct the optical axis of the camera. This device comprises image processing device (image recognition portion and tracking portion) detecting a static obstacle (for example, wheel stopper disposed on ground surface) from an image acquired by rear camera through image recognition and tracking the static obstacle and rear wheel rotation sensor as a sensor detecting a movement distance of a vehicle, for example; and ascertains the optical axis direction of the camera, based on an attachment position of the camera and the movement distance of the vehicle from where a static object being tracked is out of an image capturable region of the rear camera due to an approach of the vehicle to where the vehicle comes into contact with the static object.

  • Patent number: 8541978
Abstract: A feed control device includes a contact device, an output detector, a contact weld sensor, and an alarm device. The output detector is configured to detect the presence of power feeding into the side of an electrically-powered car from an external power supply. The contact weld sensor is configured to sense that the contact device is welded based on a detection result of the output detector if detecting the presence of power feeding from the external power supply to a feed line for the contact device when a state signal representing charge permission is not entered. The alarm device is configured, if the contact weld sensor senses that the contact device is welded, to indicate the occurrence of weld to the outside.

  • Publication number: 20130061098
Abstract: The present invention is related to a failure check apparatus for performing a failure check of plural CPUs, wherein the failure check apparatus is configured to predict or detect a process load of the CPUs as a whole based on vehicle information related to processes of the CPUs, and change a way of performing a failure check according to a prediction or detection result of the process load. The CPUs may be CPUs in a multi-core processor. The failure check apparatus may perform the failure check if it is predicted or detected that the process load of the CPUs as a whole is lower than a predetermined reference.

Abstract: In an exhaust passage, a pressure detection means is provided on the upstream side of a filter, and an exhaust throttle valve is provided on the downstream side of the filter. And, when the operational state of the internal combustion engine is a steady operational state (in a step S101), the opening amount of an exhaust throttle valve is controlled so that the upstream pressure detected by the pressure detection means becomes a constant value (in a step S103).

  • Publication number: 20050179220
Abstract: In a stabilizer control apparatus for a vehicle, a stabilizer includes a pair of stabilizer bars disposed between a right wheel and a left wheel of the vehicle, and an actuator having an electric motor disposed between the stabilizer bars. A turning determination device is provided for determining a turning operation of the vehicle. And, a controller is provided for controlling the electric motor in response to the result determined by the turning determination device. The electric motor is substantially prohibited from being fed with electric current, when the turning operation of the vehicle is being decreased.

  • Publication number: 20020070608
Abstract: Frequency of judgment of welding of relays is increased to increase likelihood of early detection of welding. It is determined that a battery 22 is not being recharged or discharged when a vehicle speed V of an electric vehicle is approximately 0 and a brake pedal 54 is pressed, and a switching element of an inverter 24 is controlled to be switched to discharge electric charges which are stored in a capacitor 44. After discharging, relays 30, 32 are turned off, and voltages RV1, RV2 between the terminals of the relays 30, 32 are detected by voltmeters 40, 42 to judge whether either of the voltages RV1, RV2 has a threshold value RVref (approximate value 0) or less. When it is so determined, it is judged that the relays 30, 32 are welded, and an LED 70 is illuminated.
