Abstract: A method for fastening items (2) such as posters, photos or banners, which in the edge for hanging have a poster hanging bar or rail (3) manufactured from a magnetic material, to an object such as a poster roll up unit (15), which is provided with one or more magnets (5) to which the rail (3) can be connected, the magnets (5) being placed in a recess in relation to the object's surface. Poster roll up units (15) are provided with built in magnets (5) for fastening and fixing items (2) by magnetic connection between the magnets (5) and the rail (3), mounted in the item's (2) edge for hanging. Items such as posters are simply, inexpensively and efficiently mounted and fastened to objects such as poster roll up units (15), without safety risks and requirements for space.

Abstract: An apparatus for attaching edging to a sheet has two stationary guides at each end, an upper hollow guide (8), a pair of lower guides (5), with a fixed base (4) between the lower guides. A hollow profile (1) is vertically movable, having a binding rail (2) on the underside thereof. The upper guide (8) is placed inside the profile, forming upper and lower spaces (7, 9) between the profile and the upper guide. Upper and lower flexible elements (10, 11) are provided in each space. In use, one element is filled while the other element is emptied, such that when an edging and a sheet is placed between the fixed base (4) and the binding rail, the lower element is filled to force the profile and thus the binding rail down to attach the edging. Then the upper element is filled to release the sheet with the attached edging.

Abstract: The invention relates to a poster hanging bar for reinforcement of the edge of items such as posters, which are to be suspended on a wall or from a ceiling. A bar is used, which can be made of a metallic material, for the edge reinforcement and the bar is pressed around the edge of the poster. The bar is fastened to the poster either by clamping of end points, which are situated after angular shapes on the bar, or by the bar being exposed to point by point deformations and an angular shape, which gives the edge reinforcement bar a distinctive mechanical strength. The edge reinforcement process can be automated, whereby the demands for manual labor are minimized. The components are inexpensive, readily available and the finished edge reinforcement is highly robust and durable.

A fixed base (4) is placed between the lower guides (5). A hollow profile (1) is vertically movable between the guides. A binding rail (2) is placed on the underside of the profile (1). The upper guide (8) is placed inside the profile. A space (9) is created between the upper interior of the profile and the upper exterior of the upper guide. Another space (7) is created between the lower interior of the profile and the lower exterior side of the upper guide. A flexible element (10,11) is placed in each space. The elements can in turn be filled or emptied with a gas or a liquid. The fixed base is preferably provided with magnets. In use the upper flexible element (10) is filled and the lower (11) is emptied. An edging and a sheet is placed between the fixed base (4) and the binding rail (2).
