Abstract: A method of forming double-sided patterns in a touch panel circuit is disclosed. A first conductive layer and a second conductive layer are respectively formed on both sides of a substrate. A blocking layer is formed on a top surface of the first conductive layer for blocking ultraviolet (UV) light. A first photoresist layer is formed on a top surface of the blocking layer, and a second photoresist layer is formed on a bottom surface of the second conductive layer. Accordingly, two sides of the substrate may be exposed, developed and etched at the same time, thereby substantially simplifying the process of manufacturing the touch panel circuit.

  • Publication number: 20100045634
Abstract: An optical diode laser touch-control device includes two light emitters and a plurality of receivers around a touch-acting area of a touch panel. The light emitters are disposed on two adjacent corners of the touch panel in the touch-acting area, and each employs a diode laser to continuously project a diffused light through a lens for covering the touch-acting area to form an interlaced touch screen. The receivers, which are capable of receiving the diffused light, are disposed on the touch panel around the touch-acting area to receive the diffused light. As a finger touches the touch-acting area of the touch panel, a part of the diffused light is blocked from being projected onto the receivers, and the touch position of the touch-acting area may be calculated accordingly.

  • Patent number: 7638902
Abstract: An automatically switchable dual-power-circuit-loop circuit system selectively supplies a first power source through a first voltage output circuit loop to an output terminal, and a second power source is selectively supplied through a second voltage output circuit loop to the output terminal. A switching control circuit functions to detect the first output voltage of the first voltage output circuit loop. When the first output voltage regularly supplies electrical power, the first power source is supplied through the first voltage output circuit loop to the output terminal, while the switching control circuit generates a switching signal to switch a switching element to an open-circuit condition thereby cutting off the second voltage output circuit loop. When the first power source fails to supply power, the switching element is set in a closed-circuit condition to allow the second power source to be supplied through the second voltage output circuit loop to the output terminal.

  • Patent number: 7553749
Abstract: A method of hiding transparent electrodes on a transparent substrate coats a solution of non-conductive nanoparticles onto the transparent substrate and the transparent electrodes after forming a plurality of transparent electrodes on the transparent substrate, and both non-conductive nanoparticles and transparent electrodes have the same reflective index of light. After a high-temperature thermal processing is performed to the transparent substrate, an even mask is formed on the transparent substrate and the transparent electrodes, such that the non-conductive nanoparticles in the mask provide the same reflective index of light for the positions of the transparent substrate with and without the transparent electrodes, so as to effectively prevent a different reflective index of light at any position of the transparent substrate that will cause a poor image quality of the screen.

  • Publication number: 20080088601
Abstract: A circuit layout is provided on a touch panel having a transparent glass substrate and a transparent conducting layer coated on a transparent conducting layer coating zone of the glass substrate. A peripheral wiring zone is defined on an area on the glass substrate that is not coated by the transparent conducting layer. The circuit layout includes a first and second circuit. The first circuit is formed of a first plated metal layer through metal sputtering on the transparent conducting layer at positions proximate to the peripheral wiring zone and is electrically connected to the transparent conducting layer to thereby develop a voltage gradient on the transparent conducting layer. The second circuit is formed of a second plated metal layer through metal sputtering or screen printing on the peripheral wiring zone and is electrically connected to the first circuit so as to apply a working voltage across the first circuit.
