Abstract: The invention is a plasma torch (1; 101; 201) of the type comprising: a first element (20) provided with a through opening (21) serving as an outlet for a plasma flow; a hollow electrode (19) that is developed longitudinally along a main axis (X) and is suited to be positioned with respect to said first element (20) in such a way as to define a striking area, of the type comprising a hollow cavity (25) that extends at least partially along the main axis (X); a first conveyance way (51, 52, 53) suited to convey a carrier gas towards said striking area; a second conveyance way (56, 56a, 56b) suited to convey a portion of the carrier gas towards the inner cavity (25) of the hollow electrode (19), the portion of the carrier gas being suited to cool the hollow electrode (19). This torch comprises conveyance means (59, 60a, 60b) suited to convey the carrier gas from the inner cavity (25) of the hollow electrode (19) towards a way so as not to affect the striking area.

Abstract: A sheath clamp for a welding torch, comprising a sleeve (5) having a spherical head (3) adapted to be inserted into a seat in the torch and a flange axially spaced from the head, with a collar (9) slidably mounted on the sleeve (5), and means for urging the collar (9) along the axis of the sleeve in order to clamp a sheath (2), fitted over the sleeve (5), against the flange (4). Preferably the collar (9) is provided with at least one inwardly protruding tooth (10), preferably two inner opposed teeth, and the sleeve has a reduced diameter portion between the flange (4) and the spherical head (3), which is bounded by inclined raised walls (7) which can be engaged by the tooth (10) of the collar (9), so that rotation of the ring causes an axial displacement of the collar along the sleeve (5).

Abstract: A welding torch comprises a handle having, at the back, a cable adaptor being formed by a ball joint which is integral with a cable support wherein a feeder is inserted. Better handleability is achieved.

Abstract: This invention relates to a plasma torch with electrode air-cooling devices, comprising:a hollow electrodesystems designed to introduce cooling air into the electrode near the tip, which systems consist of a tubular element smaller than the hole in the electrode so as to form a cavity between the inner wall of the electrode and the tubular elementpassages designed to place the top of the electrode in communication with a ring-shaped chamber inside the torch body which surrounds the electrodepassages situated in the torch body which are designed to place the said ring-shaped chamber in communication with the area surrounding the hoodpassages designed to place the said ring-shaped chamber in communication with the plasma chamber.

Abstract: A joint for plasma arc cutting torches comprising a fixed female element, to be applied to the generator, and a movable male element, being connected to the torch, which can be fitted into said fixed element and is provided with a ring (5) which can be screwed on said fixed element, and a sleeve (11) engaging said ring, means (15, 16), which can be disengaged by a tool, being provided for engaging said sleeve in order to prevent its rotation.
