Abstract: An expand-and-constrict type band-guiding device for a strapping machine includes an expand-and-constrict unit, an elastic coiled rod, a receiving member, a roller unit, a motor and a clamp device. The clamp device clamps the end of a strap band, and the motor drives the roller unit for moving the elastic coiled rod to push outward an elongate shift member. Then the strap band with its end pushed to extend by the shift member and then released by the clamp device in due time, with the end of the strap band pushed to the other side from under a storage board for an operator of the strapping machine to catch the strap band.
Abstract: A strap reserving control device for a strapping machine is to apply the relative action between a balancing weight unit and a balancing rod respectively fixed at the opposite ends of a rotating shaft, and the functions of sensing by a sensing portion of a sensing switch to control the amount of packaging strap stored in a strap reserving room. The balancing weight unit and the balancing rod is formed with a lever structure therebetween, therefore no tiredness of elasticity or damage may happen to them, able to prolong the service life of the machine, and stably and precisely control the amount of packaging strap stored in the strap reserving room.

Abstract: A band-thickness adjusting device for a portable packing machine includes an adjusting shaft and an activating rod combined eccentrically with the adjusting shaft, and a press rod pressed axially by eccentric movement of the adjusting shaft to press down a friction head of a fusing device. Then the gap between the friction head and a stationary friction head of the fusing device can be changed to suit to different thickness of packing bands so that pressure against the packing band may be adjusted for the thickness of a packing band, with the gap between the two friction heads freely adjustable.
Abstract: A mechanism for loading a lashing tape of a binding machine is disposed on a tape storing slot which is located in the binding machine and formed of a locating plate and a position confining plate. The locating plate is provided with a drive wheel driven by a drive motor, and a driven wheel located near the drive wheel. The locating plate is pivoted with a main guide rod. The driven wheel is fastened with an auxiliary guide rod. The main guide rod is connected with a control rod for controlling a touch switch regulating the circuit of the drive motor. The auxiliary guide rod is slanted in a direction toward the main guide rod. The main guide rod is pushed by an actuating rod driven by a motor such that the main guide rod swivels upward to join with the auxiliary guide rod, thereby resulting in the formation of a gap via which the lashing tape is guided by the drive wheel and the driven wheel to be loaded.
