Abstract: A battery charger may accommodate simultaneous charging of one or more batteries. The battery charger may also accommodate high power charging of a single battery. Li-type and/or Ni-type Batteries equipped with RFID technology may communicate with the battery charger equipped with similar technology to provide default charge settings in response to battery chemistry type, cell count, recommended charge rates, number of charges on the battery, among other information. The charge parameters may be user-adjustable in an ‘advanced mode’ of the battery charger. Several safety features may be included.
Abstract: The present invention provides for a protective enclosure comprising a base comprising a first continuous mating surface and at least one conveyance aperture, a cover comprising a second continuous mating surface, wherein the second continuous mating surface is configured to form a seal with the first continuous mating surface, and a clamp, wherein at least a portion of the clamp is coupleable to the base, wherein a mouth of the clamp is configured to be offset from the aperture when the clamp is coupled to the base, wherein the clamp comprises a first sealing layer, and wherein the clamp is configured to seal the aperture against contaminants. The protective enclosure may be configured for use in a remotely controllable model vehicle to protect a control module.

Abstract: A battery single charger may accommodate Li-type and Ni-type batteries, having default charge settings and user-adjustable charge parameters in an ‘advanced mode’. Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries equipped with RFID technology and integrated balance taps may communicate with a device such as a battery charger equipped with similar technology providing information such as chemistry type, cell count, recommended charge rates, number of charges on the battery, among other types of information. Several safety features may be included.
Abstract: A battery retention system is provided including a first retention system. The first retention system includes a first battery door having a first sliding coupling in a direction between the first battery door and a battery compartment. Also including a first locking mechanism configured to secure the first battery door in a position relative to the the battery compartment. A second retention system including a second battery door having a second sliding coupling in another direction between the second battery door and the battery compartment. Where a second locking mechanism is provided that secures the second battery door in a position relative to the battery compartment and where the second battery door slidably locking in place restricts the opening of the first battery door.
