The system includes a first connector housing fixed to the first surface and a second connector housing fixed to a second surface. An insertion end of the first connector housing is smaller than a receiving end of the second connector housing such that the insertion end of the first connector is insertable into the receiving end of the second connector housing. The tubular body passes continuously through the interior volume of the first connector housing and through the interior volume of the second connector housing.

The apparatus further includes a protectant applicator connected to the container and configured to eject the protectant onto the surface. The protectant applicator is positioned closer to the rear end of the main body than the communication line holder so that the ejected protectant is applied onto the communication line that has been deployed on the surface. The apparatus includes a shaping template connected to the main body. The shaping template includes an opening and is positioned to contact the surface when the main body advances.
