    Abstract: A sod harvester comprising a roll count switch assembly that is maintained in a fixed position relative to the support frame and the conveyor belt assembly and that is not attached to and does not move with the ladder. The roll count switch assembly remains in a first position relative to the support frame and the conveyor belt assembly even while the ladder frame is translated between a first longitudinal position and a second longitudinal position.
