  • Patent number: 10820584
Abstract: A clasp hanger includes a hanger hook including an elongated part. The hanger hook has a hanger hook section and a neck section opposite the hook section. The neck section is expandable to allow the clasp hanger to be quickly hung on a support object such as a branch. The clasp hanger further includes an object attachment device attached to the neck section of the hanger hook. This object attachment device is configured for attaching an object such as one configured to dispense a chemical or formulation useful in pest management. The hanger hook, and object attachment device are disposed such that, after the support object is pushed through the neck, the hanger hook automatically rotates such that the support object is disposed at an interior part of the hanger hook that is away from the neck section. This prevents the support object from passing back through the neck section.

  • Patent number: 7100324
Abstract: A flexible bag and attachment mechanism is provided that may be used in a variety of applications where it is desirable to attach a flexible bag to a device or machine. Some examples of such device may include an insect trap, a grinder, volumetric or weight based filler and liquid dispenser, food or perishable storage, etc. According to one embodiment, the bag portion of the device is disposable and the attachment device is reusable. In one variation a tapered neck is attached to the opening of the bag. The tapered neck connects within a tapered collar of the device by way of a press fitting. The neck is flexible so that it can be deformed to a shape that permits it to enter into the collar, and is resilient so that it can return to its original tapered ring configuration to engage the tapered inner circumference of the collar. The bag may be attached to a dispenser for dispensing material. The dispenser may be in part, a grinder or mixer.

  • Patent number: 5259311
Abstract: A method for laser engraving photopolymer printing plates is provided. Prior to the laser engraving step (30), the photopolymer material is totally cured, followed by removal of a release layer disposed on the material. The laser engraving step (30) which follows removal of the release layer produces a plurality of tacky particulates (120) which adhere to the surface layer of the photopolymer material (100) adjacent the ablated regions (110). The particulates (120) are removed in a solvent washing step (40) to provide clean sharp edges (115) adjacent the ablated regions (110). Subsequent to removal of the photopolymer residue (120) the engraved printing plate is finished, by either chemical or light finishing methods.
