  • Patent number: 11628603
Abstract: The invention relates to a sound protection panel for cladding a wall of an automotive vehicle, the panel includes a mass-spring system. The panel has a lower spring layer based on a resiliently compressible material, an upper mass layer based on resiliently compressible foam flakes, the flakes being bound together by a two-component fibre-based bonding agent comprising a core. The core is fusible at a high temperature or infusible, and a sheath fusible at a lower temperature, the flakes being fused with the sheath to form an upper agglomerated layer.

  • Patent number: 11135980
Abstract: The invention relates to a folding interior lining panel of a motor vehicle comprising a first flap and a second flap which are articulated to one another along two articulation edges. The flaps have edge faces of similar thicknesses. The flaps being articulated to one another by two strips positioned some distance apart. Each of the strips has a middle part, a first end part pressed closely against the first edge face by a first plate and a second end part pressed firmly against the second edge face by a second plate. A second strip is positioned between the first strips, the second strip has a middle part, a first end part pressed firmly against the first edge face by a third plate and a second end part pressed firmly against the second edge face by a fourth plate.

  • Patent number: 11052580
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of producing a sound proofing trim panel comprising the steps of providing an elastically compressible lower layer, heating the lower layer and placing it in a mould to shape it to form a spring layer of a spring-mass type damping system. The method further includes associating the lower layer with an upper layer, to form the mass of the spring-mass system. According to the invention, the lower layer comprises a blend of elastically compressible foam flakes forming at least 80 wt.-% of the lower layer and being mixed with binder fibres. The fibres comprising a core and a sheath that is fusible at a moderate temperature, and the flakes being bonded to one another by means of the fusing of the sheath forming a binder, such that the lower layer takes the form of a bonded foam.

  • Patent number: 10919255
Abstract: The invention is a trim panel having a moulded structural core. The core has two edges connected to each other along a joint, the joint is convex and radiated. The edges are connected to each other gradually, and the core has a back face and a front face. The front face is coated with a glued front coating, the coating having a peripheral edging folded against the periphery of the back face. The back face is provided, in the vicinity of the joint, with a plurality of substantially straight grooves arranged in a fan, the grooves receiving, glued therein, the folds formed in the edging in the vicinity of the joint.

  • Patent number: 10909960
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a protective sound panel for a motor vehicle. The method involves producing a complex including a fibre-based porous back layer, an intermediate layer of shredded recycled material, and a porous front layer, placing the complex in a thermoforming mould to produce a three-dimensional shell, placing the shell in an RIM mould and injecting a foam precursor mixture in order to form a sealed acoustic insulation barrier the binder being incorporated into the front layer. The front layer having a mass per unit area of between 500 and 2000 g/m2, and at least one lightly compressed, high-absorption region with a thickness of between 4 and 10 mm, the minimum total percentage of the lightly compressed region being 40%.

  • Patent number: 10889248
Abstract: The invention is a system for covering a luggage compartment having two lateral supports and a front panel pivotably connected to the supports. A rear panel is also pivotably connected to the lateral supports A carriage is slidably mounted on a longitudinal guide rail rigidly connected to a first of the supports. Two cable sections each having an end associated, respectively, with either side of the carriage, and being kept permanently tensioned along a longitudinal axis is also included with a wheel actuated by a motor. The wheel is rigidly connected to the sections in order to allow one or the other, as desired, to be pulled in a longitudinal direction, in order to move the carriage forwards or backwards in order to move the panels to allow access to the compartment or to cover it.
