    Abstract: A method of applying a powder coating to a medium density fiberboard (MDF) or particleboard door includes attaching a first hanger to the door, providing an electrical source to the door through the first hanger, and conveying the door, via the first hanger, into a coating booth. The door is then powder-coated in the coating booth while being electrostatically charged. The powder-coated door is then cured to cause the powder to adhere to the door.
