    Abstract: A web browser environment allows an application to control a writing of files within a sandbox and prevents an application from controlling a writing of files outside the sandbox without using a predetermined browser environment file manager dialog box requiring user input to authorize a file write action. The browser application is allowed to have access outside the sandbox using calls to a server application, installed in the computer by user authentication for execution with access to files stored locally on the computer.
